Women empowerment in Jordan is mainly about granting women the opportunity to practice their skills more confidently . We want the society members to help their daughters, wives and sisters to know their rights and become more independent.

  1. I grew up in the US (Boston) so I can talk about what techniques worked best for various oppressed groups to gain more equality. One method that worked well in the American context was to have one or two large groups that lobbied for their members at the national legislative level. Examples of such groups include the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and the National Organization of Women (NOW). I don't know if there is a national women's organization in Jordan, but if not, maybe it's time to start one.
